Thomas Johansen Biography:
Thomas Johansen is a busy US/ UK Producer/ Songwriter/ Mixer/ Programmer.
He has been working with some of the top names in Indie Rock, Folk, Pop
and R'n'B
(including: Lissie, Mt Desolation (Killers/ Keane/ Mumford and Sons), Jack Rubinacci,
Angus and Julia Stone, All Saints, Kevin Lyttle,
Coolio,
Boy Kill Boy,
Ricardo Da Force (KLF),
Vybz Kartll,
Karen Ramirez, Faye Tozer (Steps), Wheatus and many more)
and is well known for his
ability to work across
styles and for finding the
unique sound of each artist.
The last 6 years he's been collaborating with producer/ mixer Ian Grimble in London
as well as doing his own productions.
He moved to the US in 2007 and divides his time between
the States and Europe
doing productions, mixing and writing.
Thomas is a multi instrumentalist.
Before moving into production, he recorded numerous
albums and toured extensively as a
Hammond organ /keyboard player.
He studied vocal technique and music theory in Denmark and plays drums and percussion.
